开始按钮+IE11，Windows Server 2012 R2图赏6月25日消息，在Build2013开幕之前，微软发布了Windows Server 2012 R2预览版。面向MSDN和TechNet订阅用户提供了Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter（数据中心版）Preview、Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials Preview 以及 System Center 2012 R2 Preview和 SQL Server 2014 CTP1的下载。
Windows Server 2012 R2 即 Windows Server 服务器系统的“Blue”更新，其所带来的新特性和Windows 8.1是一致的，比如开始按钮的回归、IE11浏览器的预览以及全新的“导航”属性等等。
